HOW TO INSTALL A LEUPOLD CDS DIAL: STEP-BY-STEP

  1. Before we begin, make sure your firearm is unloaded and there is no ammunition present.
  2. Prior to installation, your rifle should be zeroed at the distance indicated when ordering your custom dial.
  3. Remove the original dial by loosening the 3 set screws located on the knurled rim of the dial.
  4. Lift the dial upward and clear of the adjustment mechanism.
  5. Place your new CDS dial on the adjustment mechanism, and turn it clockwise until the Zero Distance is aligned with the witness mark on the rifle scope, and the dial hits the Zero Stop.
  6. Tighten the set screws to a max torque of 5 in-lbs.
  7. And now, your Custom Dial System is installed and ready to go.
