Few dare to follow their life's true calling. Even fewer find that calling making wild game calls for almost any hunter during any hunting seasons. Washington-based Phelps Game Calls was established by Jason Phelps in 2009. Phelps grew up fascinated by calling in big game animals like deer and elk into closer range before taking his shot, so he decided to take his passion and turn it into a career. After perfecting his first cow elk call, he went on to expand the business, which now offers calls for deer, elk, predators, turkey, and waterfowl.

Jason and his colleague Nick Schmit recently stopped by the Leupold factory in Beaverton to host a free elk calling demonstration for our employees.
