THREE UNIQUE MODES
You might hunt with a rifle, or maybe you prefer dropping game with arrows instead of bullets; either way, equipped with three distinct modes, LOS, TBR, and Bow mode, the RX-1400i TBR/W Gen 2 is as versatile as it is lightweight.

LOS (Line of Sight) mode calculates straight-line distances and is effective for those who shoot over flat terrain. But hunters who face steep angles and long shots can benefit from TBR (True Ballistic Range).
TBR/W mode has 25 selectable ballistic groups that account for most manufactured and hand-loaded rifle cartridges. Just choose the group that matches your bullet weight and muzzle velocity, and the RX-1400i Gen 2 will generate dead-on shoot-to-distances that are accurate out to 800 yards. Without this kind of technology, you could miss your target by up to 10 or even 15 inches, depending on the shot.
Then there's Bow mode. The 1400i Gen 2 features a unique Bow mode that utilizes our award-winning Flightpath Technology. So on top of calculating angle-compensated ranges, it also eliminates doubt when it comes to finding unobstructed shooting lanes.
FLIGHTPATH TECHNOLOGY
For the first time ever, our engineers took the archery feature Flightpath from the RX-FullDraw 5 and incorporated it into the lightweight body of the 1400i. It’s not a one-to-one transfer, though, meaning you’ll need to finish a quick calibration process before it's ready to go. Once it is calibrated, Flightpath will display an illuminated mark, indicating exactly where your arrow will be at 20 yards. Anything above that mark isn’t a problem, but anything below it, like tree limbs or thick brush, could get in the way of your kill shot.
