Leupold & Stevens, Inc., provider of the world’s most rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics, is pleased to announce that seven Leupold Pro Team members qualified and competed in last weekend’s Bassmaster Classic, held March 4-6 in Greenville, S.C. Pro Team member Stetson Blaylock finished third in bass fishing’s most renowned annual tournament.

Only 55 anglers qualified for the three-day competition, which for 2022 was held on South Carolina’s Lake Hartwell. Blaylock and the rest of the Leupold Pro Team members present at the Bassmaster Classic–including Drew Benton, John Cox, Matt Robertson, Seth Feider, Brandon Palaniuk, and Drew Cook–exclusively use Leupold Performance Eyewear.

“When you’re on the water hunting trophy-caliber fish, your eyewear is one of the most important tools in your kit,” Blaylock said. “My Leupold Performance Eyewear is lightweight, rugged, and clearer than anything else I’ve ever worn and the polarized blue mirror lenses in my Packout frames helped me see bass just beneath the surface.”

The Packout is one of eight distinct frames Leupold offers. All eight frame styles are made from lightweight, ballistic-rated materials and ship with scratch-resistant, polarized lenses as rugged and clear as those featured in the company’s legendary riflescopes, making them the best eyewear on the market for hunting and fishing. Four of the eight styles–the Packout, Switchback, Payload, and Tracer–meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1+ high-velocity impact standards for eye protection.

“We designed the performance eyewear line for every possibility,” said Zach Bird, Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “Whether you’re fishing, on the range each weekend, hiking a ridge looking for a trophy bull, or just driving to work every day, our performance eyewear line has something for you–and we’re proud to say that every model is designed, machined, and assembled right here in the USA.”
