Leupold Core Team Member Nick Gadarzi Wins Open Division at National Rifle League’s Dog Valley Precision Challenge

June 11, 2019

Leupold & Stevens, Inc., is proud to announce that Leupold Core team member Nick Gadarzi placed first in the Open Division at the National Rifle League’s Dog Valley Precision Challenge, held June 10-11 in Nephi, Utah.

Gadarzi exclusively runs Leupold optics, and used the award-winning Mark 5HD 5-25x56 – with a TMR reticle – to help get the job done in Utah. He had previously used the same configuration to win the Open Division at the NRL’s JC Steel Target Challenge, held in Benge, Wash., May 3-5.

“Nothing makes more of a difference on the line at a competition than the optic you’re running,” Gadarzi said. “Leupold has always produced some of the most dominant and reliable riflescopes, and the Mark 5HD is an absolute game-changer on the competitive circuit. If you’re going to compete in the long-range-precision medium, it’s the scope you want on your rifle.”

The Mark 5HD that Gadarzi runs on his competition rifle has been crafted to redefine accuracy, precision, and optical performance for long-range shooters – and do so in a package that embodies rugged reliability. Three models – a 7-35x56, 5-25x56, and 3.6-18x44 – are available in both milliradian and MOA configurations.

Another competitor, Morgun King, finished third at Dog Valley while running the Mark 5HD 7-35x56. Leupold Core team member Jon Pynch finished sixth with his Mark 5HD 5-25x56 with CCH reticle.

“Nick is one of the most talented shooters on the competitive circuit, and his skills speak for themselves,” said Joshua Bechard, Marketing Partnerships Specialist for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “We’re ecstatic that he’s chosen to work with Leupold, and we know that the Mark 5HD – which we designed using input from some of the industry’s most elite shooters – won’t let him down.”
