Leupold & Stevens, Inc., has announced the launch of its new BX-2 Alpine binocular, which has been designed from the ground up to deliver the relentless optical performance that Leupold products are known for, all in a package that’s firmly value-priced.

The new BX-2 Alpine will be available in 8x42, 10x42, 10x52, and 12x52 models, all ready to deliver class-leading optical performance. All Alpine binoculars feature Leupold’s Twilight Max Light Management System, the same system that’s used by the company’s award-winning VX-3i and VX-3i LRP riflescope lines.

The Twilight Max Light Management System is designed to allow users to glass longer during the early predawn hours to well past dusk. Twilight Max combines exceptional light transmission and glare management to provide vivid images and excellent optical performance in low-light conditions. Twilight Max can add up to 20 minutes of observational time and eliminates 85 percent more glare-producing stray light than its competitors.

“We’ve designed the BX-2 Alpine to be the very best binocular in its class,” said Zach Bird, Product Line Manager for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “With it you’re getting a combination of excellent optical performance and rugged reliability that its competitors can’t match.”

Further features include a rugged magnesium chassis that is designed to mount easy with a 1/4 - 20 threaded tripod adapter. The lenses are treated with DiamondCoat2 abrasion-resistant coating. They're extreme climate tested and verified, and are 100 percent fogproof and waterproof.

The BX-2 Alpine binocular is backed by Leupold’s legendary Full Lifetime Guarantee.
