BEAVERTON, Ore. — Leupold & Stevens, Inc. is pleased to welcome Lucas Burt to the Leupold® team as Digital Media Strategist. Burt will drive Leupold’s social media channels, create strategic content plans and foster engagement between the optics manufacturer, hunters and shooters.

Burt joins Leupold after several years at Nike, where he led the content development for a variety of company initiatives. He brings a wealth of storytelling experience and a proven track record of connecting with audiences to tell the Nike brand story.

“While Lucas is an incredibly talented digital communicator, he’s also a lifelong hunter and outdoor enthusiast. His experiences in the field and behind a rifle on the hunt allow him to bring his personal perspective to our digital communications,” said Rob Morrison, vice president of global marketing for Leupold and Stevens, Inc. “We’re excited to have him on our team and can’t wait for him to help grow our engagement in the online space.”

Burt graduated from Southern Oregon University with a degree in journalism. In addition to his passion for the outdoors, Burt has also spent time on a U.S. Forest Service fire crew.
