Leupold & Stevens, Inc., provider of the world’s most rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics, is pleased to announce the new-for-2021 DeltaPoint Micro has been given the Caliber Award for “Best New Optic” by the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW) and the Professional Media Outdoor Association (POMA). Leupold was presented with the award at the annual NASGW meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 26 in Columbus, Ohio.

To qualify for the Caliber Awards, a manufacturer must be a NASGW member in good standing, and the product must have been publicly released between the end of the previous year’s NASGW Expo and the beginning of the current year’s Expo.

“No red dot sight is more compact, easy-to-use, or ruggedly reliable than the DeltaPoint Micro,” said Bruce Pettet, President and Chief Executive Officer for Leupold & Stevens, Inc. “It delivers on all counts, and is proudly designed, machined, and assembled in the United States. We’re ecstatic that NASGW and members of the outdoor media – hunters and shooters with decades of experience in the industry – agree it is a game-changing addition to the red dot marketplace.”

Featuring an incredibly compact and revolutionary new design that is easy to conceal, the DeltaPoint Micro mounts directly to the rear sight dovetail and sits at the same height as factory iron sights. The red dot aligns with the front sight, delivering rapid target acquisition and improved accuracy. Launch-day models will fit all non-MOS Glock models and the Smith & Wesson M&P line of handguns.

The DeltaPoint Micro features Leupold’s Professional-Grade Optical System, which provides unmatched light transmission, industry-leading glare reduction for a clear image in harsh, direct light, and the resolution and clarity that professional shooters demand in the field. Crystal-clear lenses eliminate distortion and color inconsistency. The red dot mounts quickly and easily to the factory rear sight dovetail for co-witnessing the front sight, eliminating the need for aftermarket rear iron sights.
