The Mark 8® 3.5-25x56mm M5B2 Illuminated provides you with a huge magnification range for close or long-range engagements. Its illuminated first focal plane reticles provide accurate range estimation throughout the entire zoom range, while the seven brightness settings and Auto-Locking Pinch & Turn dials add even more versatility in the field.

Mark 8 riflescopes are at the tip of the spear, boasting first focal plane reticles, maximum resolution and field of view, an 8:1 zoom range, and the image brightness and contrast necessary to take on the worst conditions. Each scope is built around Leupold’s Professional-Grade Optical System, which offers unmatched light transmission that’s designed to outperform in the most challenging lighting conditions, industry-leading glare reduction for a clear image in harsh, direct light, and the resolution and clarity that professional shooters demand.

With a Mark 8, you get the best-of-the-best optical quality in a waterproof, fogproof, and near indestructible package. And like all Leupold riflescopes, it's designed, machined, and assembled in the USA and guaranteed for life.

Features
An extremely versatile 8:1 zoom ratio gives you 8 times more magnification at high power than at low power (model magnification ranges may available in powers of 8x: 1-8, 2-18, etc.), so you can dial your power way down for close encounters or all of the way up for long-range shots.
Leupold’s Professional-Grade Optical System offers unmatched light transmission that’s designed to outperform in the most challenging lighting conditions, industry-leading glare reduction for a clear image in harsh, direct light, and the resolution and clarity that professional guides and shooters demand in the field.
The side focus adjusts the scope's parallax, making the reticle clearer and have less perceived movement when you're shooting at different distances.
The M5C2 adjustment is available on select models and features up to 20 MILs of elevation adjustment and 0.1 MIL clicks. A push-button zero lock and a zero stop help prevent inadvertent adjustments and ensure accurate return to zero.
In First Focal Plane (front focal plane) scopes, the reticle grows and shrinks at the same rate as the target when you adjust the magnification. This allows you to accurately use the reticle feature at any magnification setting. These reticles are ideal in tactical situations but can also aid in range estimation for hunters and target shooters.
The ZeroLock® system eliminates accidental dial movement by locking it in place.
The ZeroStop system creates a backstop when returning the dial back to zero, so you don't accidently turn the dial a full revolution in the wrong direction.
Leupold pioneered modern waterproof and fogproof technology using advanced internal gasses and sealing methods that withstand extreme temperatures, elevation changes, and shocks, so the internals of the optics stay moisture free and crystal clear for life.

  • Expands on existing MIL Dot reticle design
  • Uses hash marks instead of dots for increased ranging and holdover precision
  • Provides aiming points for both wind and bullet drop compensation
  • 1 MIL is approximately 3.6 inches at 100 yards
  • Hash marks are spaced 0.5 MIL apart, transitioning to 0.2 MIL spacing on the outer edges
  • Not caliber specific
  • Front (first) focal plane
  • MIL based systems are the current military standard
