For over four years we have been sponsoring the dramatic and energetic Pigman: The Series television show. Countless times, we’ve traveled to various locations to hunt, shoot and enjoy his company; yet, never before had he visited the factory where our riflescopes and mount systems are manufactured.
Brian “Pigman” Quaca decided it was high time he visited, and on April 17th 2013, he did just that.
Not only is Pigman one of the most recognizable TV hunting personalities out there, but he’s a great proponent of Leupold. As a key member of our team, he brings invaluable insight with in-the-field use cases, and expertise.
On his visit, he was able to meet with quite a few of the people that have crafted the equipment he uses. From career machinists like Jerry Doner, to Document Control Manager Arnie Perri. He spent a lot of time on the shop floor seeing how we convert millions of pounds of aluminum into scope parts. He also spent time in the Mount Systems Cell, where we turn steel into some of the most popular mounting systems available. Finally, Pigman was able to spend time in the assembly clean room, visiting with Leupold’s highly skilled, experienced staff as they turn all those parts into Golden Ring riflescopes and spotting scopes, Redfield Revolution riflescopes, and of course, the entire line of tactical optics from riflescope to spotting scopes.
