Mark 8 3.5-25X56mm (35mm) M5C2 Non-Illuminated

The utmost in premiere riflescope precision, and flexibility: the Leupold® Mark 8 3.5-25×56 Non-Illuminated provides serious shooters the features necessary for success at any distance. The Mark 8’s wide 8X zoom range offers an incredible field-of-view at lower magnifications, and excellent long-range target discrimination at higher powers. The 56mm objective and locking fast focus eyepiece yields a forgiving eyebox throughout the entire zoom range, while front focal plane reticles allow for accurate ranging and shot correction at any magnification. The new M5C2 ZeroLock, 1/10th mil per click windage and elevation adjustment eliminates accidental movement in the field. The elevation dial features a two turn zero-stop with a tactile revolution indicator providing 20 mils of travel (10 mils per revolution) and eliminates under or over rotating the dial. It is the ultimate blend of versatility, rugged durability, and long range precision.

Mark 8 3.5-25X56mm (35mm) M5C2 Non-Illuminated is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from For long-range targets, this is worth every penny This scope gives me an advantage on long range targets and since I have some damage to my retina, the magnification and quality have helped me see things that used to be difficult to see. I use a CMR-W reticle, and the windage aiming points are helpful to me as well with my vision issues. Some people have told me this would be heavy for a competition rifle as a woman, but I don't finnd it heavy at all. You can only shoot what you can see, and this will help you see!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Leupold MK 8, Mildot on Barrett MRAD 300 winmag Glass: 10/10 Structural integrity: 10/10 Turrets: 8.9/10 Size: 10/10 Price: 8/10 Great product overall. However if you are going to buy this for occasional use only, then i wouldn't recommend it. I have used this optic non stopped and have had no issues with it. *The turrets are very high quality/solid, however i'd like them to be a little more crisp. *The price is dependent on how often you are going to use the weapon system. If your going to use this all the time, well than I think its worth it. Thanks, Leupold Sincerely, Matt La Rue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tough as a boat anchor For the record, I'm a sponsored shooter of Leupold. With that said, I don't use products that I don't believe in 100% and I refuse to lie about a product. In both competition and hunting I have used the Leupold Deltapoint, Deltapoint Pro, Prismatic, LCO, DEVO, VX2, VX3, Mark 4, Mark 6, and Mark 8 lines. I cannot say enough good things about their quality, features, and variety. Specifically, the Mark 8 1.1-8 is not a light scope, but I feel confident I could drive over it with a Ford Focus and I would still be okay. I prefer FFP scopes and love the simplicity of the TMR reticle. The lens system is extremely bright, something that is useful when the range schedule falls behind. These parts are man-made, and man-made things will fail. That leads me to my final thought about Leupold. No matter what is is you are shooting, I know that I will be taken care of in the off chance that my scope fails.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible Scope! The scope is very robust with flawless fit and finish. It will hold up to a lifetime of use. The glass is fantastic without any distortion. At 1.1X magnification, the focus is crystal clear from the exit of the scope all the way to long distances. As you increase the magnification, the focus stays spot on at further distances. It truly is a CQBSS scope. The turrets are awesome with the squeeze the rotate and release to lock function. Makes for very quick and precise changes in elevation and windage. The large surface area of the magnification ring is a big plus for quick magnification changes without fiddling around. I have the M-TMR reticle. At 1.1X the larger outer crosshairs make for quick acquisition of targets close in. As you increase the magnification, the finer center crosshairs come to life for making accurate and precise shots out to far distances. The illumination is not daytime bright. This may be an issue for people who love red dots. However, given all the other features and functionality, it's truly a top shelf scope.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Battle Tested I used this optic (H59 version) exclusively throughout my recent tour down range and it preformed flawlessly.I purchased this on my own dime, as I was not satisfied with the ACOG, ELCAN, or EOTECH options that I had at work. M4: Though it is a touch heavy on an M4 gas gun, TGT acquisition was super fast while using the red dot, and doable in the event I didn't have time to turn it on. It really shined when I was shooting out past 300. You know its good when TM Mates are asking you to look on ridge lines to PID dudes- so much for the ACOG with doctor sight option. Durability: It maintained zero through multiple incidents (MAT-V door was closed on it twice), in addition to daily abuse on the range and on OPS in some seriously extreme conditions ranging from 30-135 degrees, rain, fog, and dust storms. The battery never failed me either and I often switched the optic between M4 5.56 and the SCAR Heavy. For those who are wondering, a MAT-V door weighs in excess of 800# constructed from solid steel. Tracking: While I was a Designated Marksman on the SCAR Heavy using 118LR ammunition, I was accurately engaging E-Type steel and "other" sized targets out to 800m+ with first round hits. Not too shabby for an 8 power and only possibly with top notch glass to discern the faint details. I also ran a ladder test, and it was spot on throughout the full spectrum. Glass quality: The glass is equal to Schmidt Bender PMII 5-25X56 we used on our bolt guns as far as clarity and brightness. Not trying to compare the 2, but its widely known that the PMII is the standard that all other scopes are measured too. It also performed well while calling winds and making corrections for the 300 win shooters. FFP is a must have. Functionality: The ocular power ring is sheer genius. While being a participant in a two way range I can attest to this. The pinch turret design that everyone complains about online- yea, I had no problems with it. Frankly speaking, im glad it has it. I had that warm and fuzzy feeling knowing its impossible for it to move. Its also handy when you forget your wrench while zeroing. You simply slip the rings later. Night Vision: Using NVG`s, it is possible to to turn the dot on the faintest setting and engage targets out to 300 with decent loom. Be forewarned, you catch some recoil in the face! Negative: Both the front and rear flip up lens covers were ripped off at some point during the initial OPS. The rear cover was cumbersome from day one, so NBD. I did appreciate the fact the were aluminium vs plastic though. Future Possibilities: I re-purposed this scope on my 338 WIN for dark timber elk rifle. After a quick zero, my friend made the longest shot of his life- first round hit: 737 yards on 18 inch steel plate. IMO, you can`t ask for a better Dark Timber Optic for out West. Illuminated day time reticle, 1-8 power, with the ability to dial up elevation for a ethical cross canyon shot.

Xtended Twilight Lens System

Now your hunt can reach further into the twilight than ever before possible, with our exclusive new Xtended Twilight Lens System™. It goes a step further than even the Index Matched Lens System®, using Leupold’s® index matched glass with wavelength specific lens coatings designed to optimize the transmission of low-light wavelengths. When most scope manufacturers quote percentage of light transmission, they usually mean at 550 nm, the green wavelength where the human eye is most sensitive. The challenge is that in twilight conditions, green light disappears and blue/violet light takes over. Your eye is already handicapped when it comes to seeing the blue/violet spectrum, and if your scope is cutting too much of it out, soon you won’t be seeing anything. The Xtended Twilight Lens System places extra emphasis on matching coatings to glass indices to achieve the best possible transmission of the blue/violet spectrum, without sacrificing the color balanced light transmission across the visual spectrum of the Index Matched Lens System. When we combine that with superior computer-generated optical design, lead-free lenses of unsurpassed clarity and quality, and 100 years of manufacturing excellence, you have a scope that gives you the details of low-light scenes in greater definition and luminance than any other scope in the world.
