Still waiting for mounting plate
As a loyal Leupold user for the past 10 years, when looking for optics for my new tactical sidearm - I looked straight to my favorite brand. The DeltaPoint Pro IS an amazing product. In March 2016, I bought the amazing RMR for my FNX Tactical 45. Still can't use it! Super frustrating to invest a sizable sum of money on a product that you have to leave in the box. How difficult can it be to develop and manufacture a sliver of metal with some holes tapped in it? I wish I had researched it earlier, and bought a TRIJICON. C'mon Leupold, how about stepping up quickly for your loyal customers. How about an actual availability date on your website? The phrase "coming soon" isn't cutting it!

WOW! WOW! WOW! Delta Point Pro for the win!
I have a Leupold LCO and picked up the Delta Point Pro along with the cross slot mount as a red dot to put on the .22 Rimfire pistol for speed steel. This thing has a great field of view, clear lens, very crisp dot, and I love the motion sensor wake up on it (batteries last forever). I am going to get the AR riser and try it out on the AR22 for speed steel as well. The 2.5 MOA dot gets plenty bright even in the sun, there is no dot washout. Luckily Leupold made it so you can change the battery without having to take the dot off and check zero, AWESOME! Leupold's warranty is just another win on top of wins! Great job with the design of this unit folks.

Glad I bought it but….
Understand as a reflex sight, the DeltaPoint is an incredible sight. It allows me to shoot with both eyes open, keeping the dominate eye on the sight. It is easy to adjust the sights, and adjust the brightness. The auto off feature after stillness increases battery life. its waterproof to 33', however I may never experience that particular benefit. I purchased the co-witness manual rear sight and it does NOT work with the stock front sight of the Glock 19. So after buying the DeltaPoint AND the optional Rear Sight, I needed to purchase from a third party and taller suppressor sight for the rear to co-witness. Leupold should include or offer a front sight to work with the rear.

Has potential but does't fit my S&W Core 9mm...
Bummer! Was so excited to throw this on my S&W Core 9mm but as others have found out it doesn't fit. I was told about 2 months ago that an adapter plate was in the works but am yet to hear anything more as site still shows it's in development. Leupold are we any closer to having a functional plate so I can put this beauty on my CORE?

As a professional gunsmith, I see a ton of different red dots come through the shop. This is one of the most solid and well thought out designs I have seen. The fact that the window is nice and large and clear is a huge added perk, but the real core of this design is the fact that it's truly waterproof, you can change the battery from the top without removing the optic, and it's overall fit, finish, and quality of design. I also love that it's made right here in the PNW, backed up by a great warranty. I've mounted these on half a dozen GLOCKS, and have one on my own personal lever action rifle. Couldn't be happier with the product!

7.5 Delta /\ - Kimber warrior SOC
Excellent sight, perfect addition to your sidearm. You must purchase a front suppressor sight for your pistol if not already installed if you wish to use open sights with the deltapoint pro reflex sights optional rear sight that is available "sold separately". That mounts into slot on the rear of the deltapoint. Although the optional rear sight is only available in standard, a night sight will soon be available from what I hear. The 33 ft waterproofing is great for people who shoot wet with their suppressors. This is great for people like myself. Wonderful feature being the recoil, depending on the mount and caliber of your firearm forces any water into the nooks and crannys of the reflex sight. So just pouring water on the deltapoint and shooting, say mounted on a Kimber would simulate 10-15 ft under water. No issues! The sight lives up to all expectations. A quick wipe with a cotton cloth cleans the lens while in the field. Shooting dry there is no issue with having to clean the lens. The added weight, though not much also provides a bit less recoil. Depending on the mount and weight distribution. Purchasing another for my AR platform being a weaver mount is available. The steel guard shrouded around the lens ensures no damage will encure during any CQC or if you're a cluts and drop your weapon. Overall I give the sight 10 out of 10

I've been running a Delta Point for the last year and when it started to have issues I sent it in for repair. I waited patiently for the last few weeks for it to arrive in time to shoot the opening evening of SCAPSA this week. I opened the box and was utterly torn.. Why do you ask? They upgraded me to the DeltaPoint Pro..Part of me was like, Right On! Woo Hoo!! Unfortunately it ended quickly because there is NO mount available for my S&W Performance Center. So I'm out until I spend another $500 on a different sight or maybe a new gun.. I really wish they would have at least told me they were gonna do what they did so I could have made other arrangements. I mean someone took the time to email me and tell me they received it. Why couldn't anyone have said," Hey dude we discontinued the Delta Point so were gonna send some new magic." ((sigh))

I have had the DeltaPoint Pro on a Glack 19 mos for about 3 weeks now and have about 700 rounds using this combo and so far I love it. It does take a little getting used to if you have not shot with an optic mounted pistol before, but if you have used a red dot on a rifle you will feel at home.
I really like the fact that you just concentrate on the target and let the dot superimpose itself on the target. This makes for faster shooting and better target/threat awareness since you are not going from target to front sight and back again.
I love the field of view of the DeltaPoint over the competition, it is night and day better. The other advantage is the battery is located on top so the optic does not have to be removed to change, though this will only have to be done maybe twice a century.
I will be adding the Leupold back up sight that mounts to this optic and a taller front sight to have a back up co-witness set up.
The only negative I would have to say is the price and that is for all these little red dots. Hopefully as this becomes more of a normal thing the price will come down a little. But even with that said I would not buy one of the cheaper ones since they will probably not last on a pistol.
Thank you Leupold for making another great optic.

MST (Motion Sensor Technology)
An important feature of select Illuminated reticle models is the Leupold-exclusive Motion Sensor Technology (MST). A single touch of the button or twist of the dial activates the illumination, offering several different intensity settings (depending on model) including a high/low indicator (FireDot reticles only). The reticle will automatically switch to “stand-by mode” after five minutes of inactivity, then reactivate whenever the rifle is moved. This eliminates the need for excess movement reaching for buttons, while extending battery life (powered by a readily available CR-2032 coin cell battery.
Aspheric Lens Technology
The wider shape of the lens housing, along with an exclusive aspheric lens, increases the usable field of view by up to 56% depending on your firearm while eliminating image fall-off toward the lens edges. You’ll be amazed at the edge-to-edge clarity. The sharp, clear picture is boosted by edge blackened lens treatments to reduce glare and light diffusion for even more resolution and clarity.
Other Sights Fall Short
The narrow housing and convex lens used in other sights limits usable field of view, causing image distortion at the sight edge. This can mean slower, less certain targeting.
