Rated 1 out of 5 by Jm3006 from Disappointed First, let me say that I LOVE Leupold scopes. I own/have owned many over the years. I won't own any other scope. That said, I was extremely disappointed in this wrench. First off, it's not made in the USA like the scopes are. That in itself is a disappointment to me. And then it's just not well made in my opinion. The metal just seems too soft on it. I actually just put it up in my gun box and went to ACE Hardware and bought a Craftsman wrench that's made in the USA, has a lifetime warranty, and has much better metal for really torquing down. Again, I absolutely love Leupold scopes and optics, and own many, but I just wish they would put the same quality in their mounting tools as they do for their optics and mounting systems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by yakfloater from Great Look and Function I bought a VX3i a few months ago and then decided to finish it off with some scope covers before hunting season this year. After shopping for covers and finding a set of the leupold covers it was a cinch to pick these for my new scope. The look of the covers itself was enough to make the decision to purchase. Once mounted I was very happy with the way these covers functioned - easy opening with a positive "click" when closing. A couple issues I encountered during and after the installation are worth mentioning to try and save others from the same problems. #1) The scope was mounted on my rifle so while attempting to screw on the front cover the hinge would hit the barrel. I had to unmount the scope to thread on the front cover. Since I used leupold mounts I was a little surprised that this happened. #2) The bigger problem was encountered once both covers were installed and the scope remounted. When attempting to operate the rifles bolt it would hit the rear cover release making it impossible to open the bolt with the cover oriented with the hinge up. NOTE: My rifle is a left hander so this problem would not be encountered by most. I wish that leupold would make a rear cover that would work with a left handed gun but do understand the economics of why they don't.

Rated 1 out of 5 by James556 from Discontinued battery pack - part #52644 The battery must have leaked inside the pack that fits under the tube. The threads are frozen. Looked for a replacement part and they have been discontinued. Looks like I now have a $900 piece of scrape metal. Thanks Leopold for the great service after the sale. Last time I purchase your products.
